The following areas are covered by the General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between you and the Swiss Ski + Snowboard School Klosters (hereafter referred to as SSSK).

Registration / How the contract is entered into

The contract between you and the SSSK comes into force once your registration has been unconditionally accepted. From this time on, the rights and obligations contained in the contract (together with these General Terms and conditions) are binding to you and the SSSK.

If the person making the booking registers further customers, he/she shall be liable for their contractual obligations (in particular payment) as well as his/her own contractual obligations.

The contract agreements and the general conditions of contract apply to all customers of the SSSK.

Services and Prices

Our services are those as described in our brochure. Any special requests on your part or any additional verbal agreements require the agreement of the school management.

The instruction prices are given in the brochure. Unless otherwise stated, the prices are per person. All prices are in Swiss Francs. Conversion into Euro is made at the time of payment at an exchange rate determined by the SSSK, taking into account the current exchange rate.

The SSSK specifically reserves the right to change information, service descriptions, prices in the brochures and price lists. Should this be the case you will be informed by the SSSK before signing the contract.

The same rates apply to instruction and supervision/ guiding.

Fees for ski courses do not include use of ski lifts.

Payment

Group lessons: A booking made online or by phone is guaranteed as soon as payment has been made.

Private Instruction: Private Instruction bookings made online or by phone are considered binding as soon as they are confirmed by the SSSK. Payment may be made in advance or upon arrival in Klosters.

We accept cash in CHF and EURO as well as payment by ec-direct, Postcard, Eurocard/Mastercard, VISA.

Annulment conditions

All cancellations must be made through the SSSK Head Head Office (Bahnhofstr. 4, CH-7250 Klosters) office. If a cancellation is made after your booking has been confirmed, the following cancellation charges apply: Up to and including 30 days before the beginning of the course 10%, from the 29th day up to and including the 10th day before the course 50%, from the 9th day up to and including the 2nd day before the course (18 pm) 80%. For cancellations made at a later time we are obliged to charge the full amount. Instruction takes place in all weather conditions. We do not give cash refunds. Reimbursements are made only as gift certificates.

Reimbursement

In the case of accident or illness, unused course days will be refunded upon presentation of a medical certificate that has to be issued by a medical doctor or hospital in the region. Restrictions caused by bad weather conditions, danger of avalanches etc. do not authorize a reimbursement or any kind of compensation. If a course or lesson cannot take place due to complete shut down of the mountain transportation services, the lesson will be credited.

Exchange Cancellation and Annulment of Ticket
For Exchange, Cancellations or Annulment of Tickets we charge a fee of CHF 10,-. 

Liability

The SSSK refuses all liability for accidents that occur during lessons or during an event organized by the SSSK. Accident insurance and/or liability insurance are the participants’ responsibility. Additionally the SSSK recommends that you have insurance to cover cancellation costs and a medical insurance to cover accidents and illness during your vacation.

Group Courses

If there are fewer than four resp. three participants registered, the SSSK reserves the right to merge groups, to cancel classes on short notice or make an alternative offer (at an additional cost).

Course tickets

Tickets are only valid for the dates printed on the tickets. Tickets are personal and not transferable. A receipt of purchase must be shown to obtain special rates for class extensions or to replace lost tickets.

Online Content
The ski school / ski rental center (hereafter referred to as "author") assumes no liability whatsoever for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author, related to material or ideal damage and which have been caused by the use or improper use of the information provided, or by the use of inaccurate and incomplete information, are expressly ruled out in so far as the author has not acted in a way which is demonstrably either intentionally or grossly negligent.

All offers are subject to change and are non-binding. The author reserves the expressed right to amend, add to or delete parts of pages, or the entire offer, without special notice.

References and Links

With regards to direct or indirect references to external Internet sites ("links") which are themselves outside the field of responsibility of the author, liability for illegal content will only then be assumed if the author has knowledge of the content of those sites and it is technically feasible and reasonable for the author to prevent usage of said sites.

The author hereby expressly declares that, at the time links were installed on this site, no illegal content was apparent on the targeted sites. This declaration applies to all links placed within its own Internet site, as well as to entries in mailing lists created by the author and to comments in the photo gallery.

Sole liability for illegal, erroneous or incomplete content, and particularly for damages which might by caused by use or non-use of any such information supplied, is borne by the provider of the target site, and not by the provider who included a link to that particular site.

Copyright and Trademarking

The author makes every effort in all publications to respect copyright on all graphics, audio files, video clips and texts, and to make use of self-created graphics, audio files, video clips and texts, or to avail himself of non-licensed graphics, audio files, video clips and texts.

All those brand names and trademarks cited in the author's Internet platform, some of which are, on occasion, protected by third parties, are subject without restriction to applicable copyright laws and the proprietary rights of the registered owners. The conclusion should not be drawn from their mere naming, that trademarks are not protected by third-party rights.

Copyrights for those objects published and created by the author himself, remain solely with the author. Duplication or use of such graphics, audio documents, video clips and texts in other electronic or print publications, is not permitted, except with the expressed permission of the author.

Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction

Swiss law exclusively is applicable. Place of jurisdiction is Klosters.
